Probe launched after migrant dies at Xanthi reception center
Police in Xanthi, northeastern Greece, are conducting an investigation after a Pakistani migrant being held at a local reception center died on Sunday.
According to authorities, the 25-year-old died after falling from a bunk bed. Officers at the reception center said they were called to the room after the incident and told be other migrants that the man had fallen from his bed and struck his head.
The 25-year-old was taken to the local hospital but died soon afterwards.
