Villa caretaker of fugitive businessman released
A man working as a caretaker at the southern Athens villa of fugitive businessman Anastasios Pallis, who is being investigated for illegal weapons posession, was granted conditional release on Monday.
The caretaker was arrested on October 16 after a police search of the villa found Nazi paraphernalia and numerous illegal weapons.
The search was conducted after a retired British military officer suggested that Pallis could be hiding weapons for the far-right Golden Dawn party, which is currently the subject of a criminal investigation.
