Greek MPs to get free pass on highway tolls
Greek Parliament voted on Thursday to reward regional lawmakers who choose to give up their right of free air tickets to their electoral constituencies, which are paid for by the state, by giving them a free pass on highway tolls.
The measure, which was introduced in a bid to cut down on costs, drew criticism Thursday over the alleged perks still enjoyed by members of Parliament.
