Two coast guard officers arrested on suspicion of contraband cigarettes smuggling
Two coast guard officers were arrested in the Peloponnese on Friday on suspicion of being part of a criminal gang, which they helped smuggle contraband cigarettes.
The two officers work at the coast guard station in Gytheio and have have been suspended pending an investigation.
They also faced a magistrate on the same day to hear the charges against them.
