Crime crackdown on Thessaloniki university leads to 8 arrests
Police in Thessaloniki on Wednesday arrested eight people – seven immigrants and one Greek – as part of a continuing crackdown in and around the city’s Aristotle University.
Five of the eight were detained on drug-related charges after dozens of packages of cannabis were found on them while the other three were charged with lacking legal residence documents.
