Three migrants missing from capsized boat in Evros River
Coast guard and police officers were on Monday continuing their search for three migrants who went missing near the Evros Delta on Saturday and are believed to have crossed into Greece illegally from Turkey.
According to the state-run Athens-Macedonian News Agency, two groups of migrants were seen trying to cross the swollen river in two rubber dinghies.
One of the two dinghies, which was carrying four people, capsized and only one of the passengers managed to swim to safety.
There were no reports of what happened to the other group of migrants.
