Rescue efforts for missing fisherman continue in Lake Kerkini
Efforts to locate a 52-year-old fisherman who was reported missing on Monday in Lake Kerkini were still underway on Wednesday as members of the EMAK rescue team, firefighters and officers from the Serres police department were scouting the area early in the day.
Also taking part in the rescue efforts were employees at the Lake Kerkini Management Authority, volunteers, local fishermen as well as members of the missing man’s family.
