Anarchists say they smashed up Internet cafe

In a message on the Indymedia website, anarchists explained on Wednesday that they had attacked an Internet cafe in Exarchia, central Athens, because they suspected that anti-terrorism officers had frequently visited the establishment.

The note explained that the destructive raid was carried out on the Palladium Internet cafe on Solomou Street because four anarchists who were arrested in Nea Philadelphia earlier this year claimed that they came under surveillance after visiting the store.

Computers were smashed and the server was set on fire during the attack, which took place on November 26.
