Three Athens metro stations to close at 10 a.m. on police orders
Syntagma, Panepistimio and Evangelismos metro stations in central Athens will close at 10 a.m. on Friday on police orders.
The move comes as a security measure in response to a scheduled rally to be held in front of Parliament to commemorate the December 6, 2008 fatal shooting of high school student Alexandros Grigoropoulos by a police officer.
The stations will be reopened once crowds disperse.
