Local elections to take place on May 18 and 25
Greek local elections will take place on May 18 and 25, Interior Minister Yiannis Michelakis announced on Wednesday.
The second day of local elections will coincide will the European Parliament elections set to take place May 22-25, the minister said.
Speaking on Mega channel on the same day, Michelakis noted that local elections would take place under the existing voting system, given that junior coalition member PASOK was against any changes to the current electoral system.
