Police arrest man, 39, for mailing fake explosive devices
Police have arrested a 39-year-old man in Pangrati, in central Athens, who is suspected of mailing fake explosive devices, according to local media reports.
The suspect, who was running a courier business in Pangrati, had allegedly mailed 50 packages containing a dynamite stick replica made from plaster and wires, the reports said. Police have so far traced 35 of these parcels.
His motives remain unknown. Police are investigating.
