Civil service evaluation must be finished by Jan 15, says minister
The results of the evaluation of civil servants have to be completed by January 15, according to a circular issued by Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday.
The results of the assessments will be needed to help the government complete its memorandum commitment of firing 13,000 civil servants by the end of next year and completing the transfer of another 12,500 by February.
Mitsotakis also asked for checks on the education qualifications of public sector workers to be stepped up.
