President’s office refutes media report of row with PM
President Karolos Papoulias’s press office took the unusual step on Saturday of issuing a statement denying a story that appeared in the Parapolitika weekly.
The article alleged that Papoulias and Prime Minister Antonis Samaras had a big row over a range of issues, including the use of presidential decrees to pass laws and the candidacy of the next president of the republic.
Papoulias’s press office said that the report was entirely false.
