Four men linked to Georgian gang leader arrested in Thessaloniki
Four Georgian men have been arrested in Thessaloniki on suspicion of being members of a gang that was run by the recently jailed criminal kingpin Lasha Susanasvili, also from Georgia.
One of the men arrested is thought to be Susansvili’s bodyguard. The four men were found to be in the possession of nine firearms and fake identification cards.
Susanasvili received a 14-year sentence in July for masterminding a criminal operation in several countries, including Greece.
