New Democracy’s Glyfada office firebombed
New Democracy’s Glyfada branch was firebombed in the early hours of Friday by unknown assailants using the homemade incendiary device, the Athens-Macedonia News Agency has reported.
The explosive, which is believed to have consisted of a glass bottle filled with flammable liquid and set alight, exploded 2.40 a.m. after being thrown through the window of the conservative party’s office on Mystras Street in the southern Athenian suburb.
The damage it caused was limited to the interior of the office.
