Baby found dead at Cyprus waste disposal unit
A baby girl was found dead at the Koshi waste disposal unit in Cyprus on Thursday morning, local media report.
The baby’s body was found in an advanced stage of decomposition, authorities said adding that the exact cause of her death could not be immediately established.
“She does not have any visible bruising and any damage her body suffered was most likely from the waste disposal unit machinery and she must have died between five and seven days before she was found,” state pathologist Eleni Antoniou told local media.
Police are investigating.
