Dead man was hiding a deadly secret inside

A man who died aboard a Brussels-Athens flight in the early hours of Friday was carrying nearly a kilogram of cocaine in plastic bags that he had swallowed, an autopsy showed. The man was identified as Joseph Chukwemeka Obika, 33, from Lagos, Nigeria. He died aboard Hellas Jet Flight 205. When it landed at Athens International Airport, police were notified and the body was taken to the mortuary. An autopsy found that there were 69 small plastic bags in the dead man’s stomach and intestine, holding a total of 912 grams of cocaine, the Athens News Agency reported yesterday. The report did not say what had caused Obika’s death – whether any of the plastic bags had broken and caused a massive overdose or whether his body had not withstood the shock of the load he was carrying.
