Greek police arrest four people over debts to state of more than 17 mln euros

Four people have been detained by police over the past two days in different parts of Attica in connection with unpaid dues to the state in excess of 17 million euros.

The 62-year-old managing director of a company was arrested for debts of 8.67 million euros and his business partner, a 62-year-old woman, for debts of 8.65 million euros.

Meanwhile in Vouliagmeni, southern Athens, a 58-year-old company manager was detained over an unpaid tax bill of 76,258 euros and a 62-year-old man, about whom no additional details were given, was arrested for debts of 54,578 euros.
