Four Turkish nationals suspected of being members of the extreme-leftist terrorist organization Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) were remanded in custody after appearing before a magistrate on Friday.

The four suspects were arrested on Monday by counterterrorism officers after the latter discovered a large cache of weapons at an apartment in Gyzi, central Athens.

On Thursday a team of forensic experts reported that none of the weapons found had been used in a crime.
