Meeting planned in NYC next week on FYROM name dispute
Envoys from Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) are to meet in New York City next Wednesday with the United Nations mediator in the dispute between the two countries regarding the Balkan nation’s official name.
Matthew Nimetz is to meet Adamantios Vasilakis and Zoran Jolevski separately first and then together in a bid to push forward efforts to reach a mutually acceptable solution for FYROM’s name.
