Dendias asks Supreme Court to probe claims of more Golden Dawn recordings
Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias wrote to the Supreme Court on Monday to ask for an investigation into Golden Dawn’s claims that it has more secretly recorded footage it plans to make public.
Golden Dawn’s claims come in the wake of the posting online of a video showing spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris in conversation with ex-cabinet secretary Panayiotis Baltakos.
A probe is already underway into the legality of the video but Dendias asked Supreme Court prosecutor Efterpi Koutzamani to look into the claims about other footage “in order to protect public life and prevent any blackmail attempts.”
