Athens airport worker dies after being hit by shuttle bus
Police and the Civil Aviation Authority were on Tuesday conducting an investigation into the events that led up to the death on Monday shortly after noon of a worker at Athens International Airport.
According to airport sources quoted by the state-run Athens-Macedonia News Agency (AMNA), the woman, who worked with a supply company, was crushed by a bus shuttling the passengers of a domestic flight from the island of Myconos to the arrivals terminal.
The AMNA did not release any details regarding the victim’s identity.
