‘Pythia 2003’ awards…
President Costis Stephanopoulos yesterday presented winners of the European Cultural Center of Delphi’s ‘Pythia 2003’ awards for excellence in the ancient Greek language and literature. The award ceremony for high schoolers from countries still teaching ancient Greek was held at the Old Parliament building. Some 800 participants from countries such as Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Spain and France took part.
