Two held over fatal beating of woman in northern Attica
A Greek and a Bulgarian national who are believed to be behind the fatal beating of a woman in Kantza, northern Attica, earlier this month, have been arrested, police said on Thursday.
According to police investigators, the woman was beaten by the two men in the early hours of May 1 after an argument between her and the two alleged assailants, who lived in the same house, turned violent.
For reasons that remained unclear, it was not until Tuesday that the woman went to the hospital, where she died of her injuries a few hours later.
