Man feared dead in Hania well after work accident
Rescue efforts were under way on the island of Crete over the weekend to locate a 39-year-old laborer who was feared to have been crushed to death by a large amount of mud at the bottom of a well while carrying out repair works on Thursday.
The incident occurred in the city of Hania.
Four excavating machines and members of the EMAK rescue team were participating in the rescue operation.
