Greek magistrates grant Ex-GD MP Alexopoulos extention
Former Golden Dawn MP Chrysovalantis Alexopoulos has been given until June 16 to prepare himself to respond to charges of being part of a criminal gang.
Alexopoulos faced magistrates on Thursday but asked for an extension.
He recently quit the far-right party to become an independent, claiming that he did not participate in any criminal activity and had started considering leaving the party after the murder of rapper Pavlos Fyssas by a Golden Dawn member last September.
