Fewer road traffic accidents recorded in March
Road traffic accidents were down by 4 percent in March 2014 compared to the same month the previous year, according to figures released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Friday.
According to the report, there were 899 road accidents in March 2014 against 936 in March last year.
The report noted that 48 people were killed, 81 were seriously injured while 993 were slightly injured in March 2014., compared to 56 people killed, 116 seriously injured and 1,050 slightly injured the previous year.
