Golden Dawn MPs line up to face questioning by magistrates

Stathis Boukouras, the MP who left Golden Dawn earlier this year, is due to face magistrates today on charges of illegally possessing weapons.

Boukouras, who also faces charges of being part of a criminal organization, denies breaking the law.

The independent MP’s appearance before magistrates signals the start of a new round of questioning for Golden Dawn lawmakers. Neofasicst MP Dimitris Koukoutsis is due to face magistrates on Friday, Nikos Kouzilos on June 10, Eleni Zaroulia, wife of party leader Nikos Michaloliakos, on June 12, and Michalis Arvanitis on June 13.

Chrysovalantis Alexopoulos, who also quit the far right party, is due to face magistrates on June 16.
