Police publish photo of carer accused of drugging, robbing elderly ward
Police have released a photograph and the personal details of a 47-year-old domestic care assistant from Georgia who is accused of stealing up to 2 million euros in money and valuables from the 73-year-old woman she was supposed to be looking after.
Police said the suspect had overmedicated the victim on numerous occasions in order to put her to sleep before she could access her valuables.
The name and photo of the 47-year-old can be found on the police website.
