Anonymous caller warns of bomb at Piraeus courthouse

Police evacuated the main courthouse in the port city of Piraeus on Tuesday morning after an anonymous caller said a bomb had been placed on the premises.

The call came in at 9.05 a.m. at the Efimerida ton Syntakton newspaper with a warning that the bomb was timed to go off half an hour later.

The courthouse was immediately evacuated and is being inspected by explosive experts.
