Zaroulia faces magistrates, process interrupted by bomb threat

A bomb threat interrupted Golden Dawn MP Eleni Zaroulia’s testimony before an Athens court on Thursday.

Zaroulia, who is the wife of the neo-Nazi party’s detained leader Nikos Michaloliakos, was facing magistrates on charges of joining and directing a criminal organization.

She was expected to deny the charges.

On Tuesday, GD deputy Nikos Kouzilos was remanded in custody on charges of setting up and directing a criminal organization. Kouzilos, who denies the charges, was placed in pretrial detention after more than six hours of questioning on grounds that he may commit new crimes.
