Greek minister to sue Vaxevanis over ‘pothen esches’ claims
Justice Minister Haralambos Athanasiou told Parliament on Tursday that he would sue journalist and publisher Costas Vaxevanis over an article in the latter’s Hot Doc magazine which alleges that the minister did not declare a 281-square-meter apartment in his derivation of wealth (“pothen esches”) declaration.
Responding to a question in the House by Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kasidiaris regarding the claims in the article, Athanasiou rejected them as “despicable allegations.”
