Justice minister to sue publisher over new Hot Doc report
Justice Minister Haralambos Athanasiou (photo) said on Thursday that he would take legal action against journalist Kostas Vaxevanis, the publisher of Hot Doc magazine, which alleged in a recent report that the politician had pardoned convicted drug dealers.
Athanasiou said earlier this month that he would sue Vaxevanis over a Hot Doc article that alleged the minister did not declare a 281-square meter apartment in his derivation of wealth (“pothen esches”) declaration.
