Albanian tied to cannabis ring arrested
Police in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, have arrested a 31-year-old Albanian national in connection to a criminal ring believed to have smuggled large quantities of cannabis out of Greece.
Another two suspects also face charges in the same case, while a fourth is being sought by authorities.
According to the case file, the gang’s members allegedly hid over 72 kilos of cannabis inside sofas they had planned to export to Germany.
