French tourist dies after falling off balcony in Crete
A 45-year-old French tourist vacationing in Iraklio, Crete, with her husband died on Sunday after falling off the third-floor balcony of the hotel the couple was staying at, the state-run Athens-Macedonia News Agency (AMNA) reported.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where her death was confirmed.
According to the AMNA police are investigating the possibility that the 45-year-old committed suicide and that her death was not the result of an accident.
