Thousands of TV viewers to lose analogue signal Friday

Thousands of TV viewers in Attica, the Saronic islands, central and northern Evia and some parts of the Cyclades will receive a digital signal for the first time on Friday, when analogue broadcasts to these parts of Greece stop.

The switch is also set to affect thousands of others who already receive digital broadcasts.

They will have to retune their TVs or set-top boxes to pick up all the channels available.

Digea, the company responsible for the digital signal, has more information on its website: www.digea.gr.
