Serres farmer crushed to death by earth-moving machine
A 64-year-old farmer was killed on Thursday after an earth-moving machine fell on top of him at his farm in the village of Triantafyllia, in the northern regional unit of Serres.
According to sources, the accident occurred while the man had been trying to repair the machine.
Neighbors called the fire service to the scene to extract the 64-year-old but he had already been crushed.
