Two injured after being shot at christening
Two young men remained in stable condition at a Hania hospital on Crete on Monday after sustaining leg injuries at a christening in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred in the area of Vlatos in Kissamos and police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
Firing guns into the air at festive occasions is fairly common practice in certain parts of Greece, including Crete.
Meanwhile, Sunday’s incident sparked fresh debate in regard to gun ownership on the island.
