Elevator death of toy store employee an accident, says coroner
A coroner on Saturday confirmed that the death of a 21-year-old toy store employee in the northern Athens suburb of Psychico on Friday was due to a freak accident.
Rescue workers found the young woman’s body after receiving a call to help free a passenger stuck in the store elevator late on Friday.
The 21-year-old appears to have choked to death after a metal ladder she was carrying got stuck in the slit between the elevator cab and the door.
