Thessaloniki police seek driver following coach blast

Police and fire service officials were on Wednesday seeking to identify the driver of a touring coach which plunged into a ravine outside Thessaloniki on Tuesday under circumstances that remained unclear.

The bus had been parked on the side of a mountain road close to the small town of Hortiati when an explosion occurred inside the vehicle, prompting it to tumble down a 10-meter ravine.

No one else was believed to be aboard the bus when the blast occurred.
