Company executives face felony charges over state hospital medical supplies

Two executives at a medical supplies company were facing felony charges over kickbacks allegedly paid to doctors working at state hospitals in exchange for the latter selecting their company’s products over rival firms.

Charges against the two executives were brought following a probe conducted by public prosecutor Giorgos Kaloudis.

According to the case file, the two executives had allegedly developed a network in state hospitals through which they promoted medical supplies worth over 150,000 euros.
