Amendment to new unpaid taxes law reaches Parliament

An amendment to a law passed recently granting debtors 72 to 100 installments to pay off outstanding obligations to the state was submitted to Parliament on Thursday.

The revision of Article 51 of the legislation foresees that debts which are not overdue will not be included in the payment plan for taxpayers who are in arrears.

This means that only the first installment of the unified property tax, ENFIA, and the first two installments of income tax will be part of the new paying scheme.
