Greek minister discharged from Istanbul hospital

Education Minister Andreas Loverdos was discharged from a hospital in Istanbul on Monday after being admitted on Saturday with intense lower-back pain.

Doctors said the minister, who was on an official visit to Istanbul to meet Greek Orthodox Church officials and members of the diaspora, is suffering from cystolithiasis.
