Greek air traffic controllers say they will join Thursday’s general strike
Greek air traffic controllers said on Monday that they will take part in Thursday’s general strike, which is likely to lead to disruption at the country’s airports.
The strike has been called by Greece’s main private sector union, GSEE, and public sector group ADEDY. Greek media are set to strike a day earlier to ensure that the rally on Thursday is covered.
Strikes by the Greek Air Traffic Controllers’ Association are often prevented by the country’s courts, which rule them illegal.
