Tripoli man faces murder charges over death of nightclub owner
A 54-year-old businessman from Tripoli in the Peloponnese was to face a prosecutor on Wednesday on charges of murdering a 42-year-old nightclub owner with whom he had 20 years of personal rivalry.
The suspect is alleged to have used a revolver to shoot the 42-year-old four times in the latter’s office in central Tripoli on October 26.
According to police sources, the 54-year-old admitted to killing the businessman, whom he accused of poisoning his dogs in the past.
Police traced the suspect using a fake mustache and glasses he had donned as a disguise but which fell off during the assault and bore traces of his DNA.
