Coast guards and police scan the sea off Aghios Cosmas on the southern coast of Athens, as US athletes Paul Foerster (r) and Kevin Burnham sail past in a 470-class craft during yesterday’s opening day of a sailing event intended to test the abilities of Athens 2004 Olympics organizers. It was the last of seven Olympic test events held this month, which started with a stormy rowing competition at Schinias.
