Two earthquakes rattle eastern Aegean island
Seismologists appear unconcerned by a double earthquake that shook the eastern Aegean island of Lesvos in the early hours of Saturday.
The first of the tremors, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, struck at 3.45 a.m., 36 kilometers southwest of the island.
The second quake followed at 8.20 a.m. It measured 4.8 Richter and its epicenter was 38 kilometers northwest of Lesvos.
