Shooting death in northern Peloponnese no longer viewed as suicide
Police on Wednesday were treating the death of a 42-year-old sailor who was shot in the garden of his home in Argolida, in the northern Peloponnese, on Monday as suspicious.
The 42-year-old was found with gunshot wounds to the head and chest by a neighbor and died later in hospital.
A revolver was found beside him, leading authorities to initially suspect suicide.
An autopsy, however, revealed evidence of foul play.
