One killed in pileup on Athens-Lamia national road
At least one person was killed and six injured in a pileup on the Athens-Lamia national road on Friday evening.
Police said 35 vehicles, including a bus and two trucks, were involved in the crash.
The accident occurred near the Schimatari toll station, about 60 kilometers north of Athens.
The cause of the pileup was not immediately clear but it had been raining heavily in the area.
