Intercity buses reduce fares for elections

The Intercity bus company (KTEL) will be reducing fares by 25 percent for the January 25 elections, facilitating voters and election monitors who need to travel, the company announced on Tuesday.

The reduction in travel prices will be in effect from January 23-27, Transport Minister Michalis Papadopoulos decided this week, asking that transport providers give priority to judicial representatives and other staff supervising the electoral process.
